Firefighters Put Out Apartment Fire In NE OKC

The Oklahoma City Fire Department battled a fire at an apartment complex in northeast Oklahoma City.

The complex is located near the intersection of Northeast 36th Street and North Prospect Avenue.

Fire officials reported heavy flames coming from the roof and pulled all interior firefighters from the interior.

A second alarm was also sounded.

Authorities said all persons have been evacuated from the structure.

The fire has been extinguished.

Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
