Here are six things to know before setting your alarm for Saturday.

1.POSSIBLE SCOTUS NOMINEE? President Donald trump is expected to officially announce his pick to replace late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. CBS News reports that federal judge Amy Coney Barrett is expected to be the president’s pick for the high court.

2.COMPLETE THE CENSUS: The Tulsa Regional Complete Count Committee will host another Census Caravan Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the neighborhood near Pine and Harvard. Friday, a federal judge in California ordered the Trump Administration to extend the census deadline through October.

3.CATCH US IN THE CAR PARADE: The Komen Race For the Cure is happening, although virtual this year. A survivor’s car parade will still take place starting at 9 a.m. Join Six in the Morning for complete coverage of the event starting at 8 a.m.

4.FUN AT THE FAIR: The Creek County Fair continues Saturday for people to get their Ferris wheel and fried food fix. Masks are recommended but not required for visitors. The fair runs through Sunday.

5.RECYCLE YOUR ELECTRONICS: The Electronic Synergy Foundation will host an electronic recycling event Saturday and Sunday at Chandler Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most items are free to recycle except for televisions and CRT monitors.

6.FIND YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND: If you’re looking for a new furry friend, the Brookside Animal Hospital is hosting an adoption event from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at its location near I-44 and Peoria.
