OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police said they're looking for one suspect after a fatal shooting. The incident started as a fight between two men early Sunday morning in Bricktown.

“Saw a guy lying on the ground,” Rod, a witness, said.

Officers said they were called to a shooting just before 1 a.m. Sunday near Mickey Mantle Drive and Sheridan Avenue.

Police said the two men were inside a bar near the ballpark when the fight broke out. The fight then spilled out into the parking lot.

“We were standing on the balcony when all of the chaos happened,” witness Mariah said. “A man pulled out a gun and started firing.”

Officers believe the men began shooting at one another.

“I heard about 10 to 15 shots,” Rod said.

The person who was struck died at the scene. Police are still looking for the suspect, though, no suspect description is known at this time.

Francisco Perez walks around the Bricktown area often.

“It just makes me wonder what it would be like if I were there,” Perez said.

This is the third shooting in Bricktown in the last two months. The recent trend concerns some patrons.

“We cannot come downtown and enjoy ourselves with the violence,” Rod said.

“I’ve been around here before,” Perez said. “It wouldn’t be nice to be here when that type of stuff is happening.”
