Some Norman Public Schools students will be back in the classroom starting Monday, Aug. 31.
Elementary school students enrolled in either the traditional/remote or blended learning options will report for in-person instruction on Monday, Norman Public Schools said in an update.
The district said they are proceeding with in-person instruction because Cleveland County remains in the "yellow" range.
If parents do not feel comfortable sending their child to school on Monday, the district said to contact their site administrator.
Middle school and high school students will continue remote learning next week.
If Cleveland County is "Orange 1" or lower next week, middle and high school students will follow an alternate learning schedule beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8.
