Deer Creek Returning To Class With Group Scheduling

Deer Creek Students prepared for their first day back to school on Wednesday with a new staggered A and B school schedule.

On Wednesday, students with last names starting A-K, or Group A, will have their first day inside the school. On Thursday, the rest of the students, or Group B, will have their first day of in-person learning. Friday, both groups will attend their first day of remote learning from home.

Monday, Deer Creek Students will officially start their staggered A-B Schedules.

Group A will go to school in-person on Monday and Tuesday, then will learn from home Wednesday through Friday.

Group B will start the week from home, learn inside the classroom on Wednesday and Thursday, then return home on Friday.

The district said all students and staff are required to wear masks inside the school and on buses.

Deer Creek Middle School put together a video to encourage everybody to wear masks.
