Dangerous Heat Contines; Potential Strong To Severe Storms In Panhandle

Dangerous heat continues Friday!

We may have a few showers develop through mid-morning, but most of the state will be dry.

Look for highs in the 90s and 100s with heat index values from 100 to 115 Friday.

In the evening, storms will develop in the panhandle and some could be strong to severe. This wave will move across the state at night providing a chance for a few additional showers.

Saturday, highs will climb into the lower and mid 90s. It won't be quiet as hot, but still muggy.
