Oklahoma To Receive Federal Grant To Revitalize State’s Bus Infrastructure

The state of Oklahoma will receive nearly $14 million from the Federal Transit Administration to help revitalize Oklahoma’s bus infrastructure.

ODOT will get more than $9 million to help Oklahoma State University expand and upgrade its maintenance facility.

Tulsa Transit will receive more than $3 million to help replace buses and introduce modern technology for the rapid bus line along Route 66.

ODOT will also get $1.5 million to help the Ki Bois Area Transit System to purchase new buses. Ki Bois Area Transit covers 12 counties and three tribal nations in eastern Oklahoma.
