In an abrupt interruption, the Secret Service escorted President Trump out of a briefing today, after a shooting outside the White House.

CBS News reported that President Trump began a news conference Monday afternoon, but within minutes was pulled away by a Secret Service agent.

After returning to the briefing, President Trump said one person was shot by the secret service and taken to the hospital.

When responding to a question at the briefing, President Trump said he was not worried and that he "has confidence in [the agents] and was not worried."
