Tulsa Police have identified the suspects in two weekend officer-involved shootings.
TPD said officers shot and killed Jonathan Randell on Saturday after he pulled a knife on a Dollar Store employee, then tried to break into a domestic violence shelter. They said they had a specially-trained crisis officer on scene and used a non-lethal weapon option first, but they said he raised his arm as if to throw the knife at officers, so they fired.
Police said Randell had a current felony warrand and told officers he would not go back to prison. Randell died at the scene.
