Apartment Complex Evacuated After Gas Line Cut In SW OKC

Firefighters and a haz-mat crew are investigating a gas line cut in southwest Oklahoma City.

The cut happened near SW 38th and Johnston Drive. A construction crew cut the line while building new sidewalks.

Firefighters checked the Rancho Village Baptist Church, the Rancho Village Apartments and Rancho Village Elementary.

Those buildings were evacuated.

At least 15 residents were told to leave the apartment complex.
