Summertime heat is back in full force and we will have a threat for severe storms.
Look for highs in the 90s and low 100s, but the heat index will range from 100 to 109 Monday.
In the afternoon and evening we will track thunderstorms as they develop up north. These storms will fire along the Oklahoma and Kansas border. They will track to the southeast and eventually weaken Monday night.
Storms Monday will be capable of quarter size hail and winds to 70 mph. There will be a threat for localized flash flooding as well due to very high rainfall rates.
Trackers will be out and we will keep you advised.
