A group of protesters held a rally on Saturday in front of the attorney general's office in support of a woman who says she was sexually assaulted 23 years ago while she was an inmate at the Tulsa Community Correction Facility.

Pamela Smith says her attacker was a former Oklahoma Department of Public Safety employee and she and her supporters claim evidence in the case was intentionally lost. Smith has petitioned for a grand jury several times with no luck. She has filed an appeal to a civil suit that was dismissed last year.
