A northeastern Oklahoma woman is back in jail on Monday, accused of being in a stolen vehicle.

Records show Jackie Binkley has been convicted five times in the past two years of the very same crime, plus she has two current warrants for her arrest.

In all five of those previous stolen vehicle convictions, Binkley got either a deferred or a suspended sentence, including a three year suspension just five months ago in Rogers County.

Monday, it was an unusual sight for Riverside Drive. A woman in handcuffs, police cars lined the streets, and a car crashed near a park without a driver.

"We had witnesses who gave us a description of the driver and actually saw the driver get out of the vehicle," said Tulsa Police Captain Karen Tipler.

Captain Tipler said Jacqueline Binkley led officers on a chase that ended near 31st and Riverside.

Records show Binkley has had five previous stolen car convictions in four different counties, including Osage, Tulsa, Rogers and Creek Counties. Now, she's facing a sixth charge.

"They have the victim who says they don't want to press charges, but they gave a vehicle description and a tag. When officers get the tag, they find out that it is a stolen vehicle," said Captain Tipler.

Police said Binkley led them on a chase from South Tulsa to Creek County and back into Tulsa before crashing and running from the car.

Binkley is currently being held at the Tulsa County jail for her warrants. One of the warrants is a federal warrant because of the recent U.S. Supreme Court McGirt ruling.
