After turning himself into police, a preliminary hearing for Jonjon Wilson will take place Thursday morning at the Oklahoma County courthouse.
Wilson, 16, is accused of killing 16-year-old Armani Combs. His hearing is set to start at 9 a.m.
According to police, Wilson is accused of shooting and killing Combs late last month. It happened at the Autumn Run apartment complex near NW 105th and Western.
Investigators said the two 16-year-olds got into a fight before Wilson pulled a gun.
Combs was found dead outside the apartments and police began their investigation.
Days later, Wilson went to the police department with his mother and turned himself in.
He faces a first-degree murder charge.
News 9 spoke with Combs's family and they said this is the second gun-related death they've experienced.
"There were allegations that this young man had been out, brandishing a gun before," said a family member of Combs. "Maybe had someone had enough courage to call 911 to say they had seen this kid with a gun or heard someone with a firearm, make that known to law enforcement.”
News 9 will be in the courtroom and will bring you the latest.
