Cold Front Could Bring Severe Storms Thursday

Thursday morning storms are racing east. We will dry out through midday and heat up!

Highs will climb into the upper 90s in southwest Oklahoma. All the moisture around will cause the heat index to soar Thursday. It will feel like the upper 90s and low 100s.

A cold front will move through Thursday afternoon and could fire more storms across the state.

The storms Thursday afternoon could be severe with large hail and damaging winds.

The ground is pretty saturated so any storm that fires could lead to localized flash flooding.
