Driver Dies After Losing Control Of Vehicle, Crashing Into Embankment

A Hydro driver died after he lost control of his vehicle and struck an embankment late Tuesday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the driver, identified as 62-year-old Randal See, was driving at a high rate of speed when the vehicle went into a broad slide, left the roadway and crashed into an embankment.

After striking the embankment, See's vehicle rolled over five times and ejected See from the vehicle.

The accident took place around 10 p.m. Tuesday, but authorities said See was not found until just after 7 a.m. Wednesday. The medical examiner determined See died of his injuries as a result of the accident.

OHP said See did not use his seatbelt.
