Bicyclist Killed After Being Hit By Car In NW OKC

Police said a bicyclist died after being hit by a car overnight in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, the crash took place between 10:30 and 11 p.m. Wednesday near Northwest 17th Street and North Meridian Avenue.

Police said the area where the crash took place was dark and there was no light on the bike.

The driver involved was arrested for aggravated DUI at the scene, police said.

The victim's name has not been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing.
