The University of Central Oklahoma is expected to release new details on its reopening plan for the fall semester.

It will have a full list of requirements that both students and staff need to follow when it comes to safety and social distancing.

Facemask will be required across campus and will be needed in virtually all areas recommended by the CDC. This includes both classrooms and hallways.

The University will provide each student with a cloth mask at the beginning of the semester.

The number of seats available in classrooms will be reduced to accommodate social distancing, additional facilities like the Nigh University Center will be used for classes to help with this.

Online classes will be available to students as well. This includes for some in-person classrooms. Students would be able to join those classes via livestream.

Some in person classes throughout the year will transition to alternative instructional delivery. Students affected will be notified of the changes.

UCO says fall break will be eliminated and in-person classes will wrap up by Thanksgiving.

All class activities during finals will be done virtually.
