A constantly updated list of mask mandate information for cities across the metro can be found below.

After Governor Kevin Stitt announced his positive test for COVID-19 on July 15, Stitt said he does not plan to issue a statewide mask mandate.

The cities of Bethany, El Reno and Mustang do not currently have a mask mandate or mask recommendations.

Edmond: The Edmond City Council voted in favor a mask ordinance. The mandate goes into effect august 26 and is set to expire October 12. For more information, click here.

Enid: Enid City Council voted against a mask mandate Wednesday night.

Midwest City: The Midwest City Council passed an emergency public safety ordinance July 28 requiring every person in the City of Midwest City to wear a face covering over the nose and mouth when entering and while inside any indoor place open to the public. The ordinance became effective immediately.

Norman: The Norman City Council has approved a new ordinance that requires people wear face masks. Norman residents must wear face masks until November 30.

Oklahoma City: In a vote Friday, July 17 the Oklahoma City-City Council voted to pass a mask ordinance in an effort to help slow the spread of coronavirus in the state. The ordinance passed with a 6-to-3 vote. It goes into effect immediately.

Oklahoma County: Oklahoma County Commissioner Kevin Calvey said the following mandate is relevant to County buildings: "Except for those with a health concern about wearing a mask, masks are required in Oklahoma County buildings. We respect your privacy. No person shall be penalized for, or questioned about, wearing a mask or not wearing a mask. Be advised that individual judges may have separate requirements for masks in their courtrooms.”

Stillwater: Similar to Norman, the city of Stillwater implemented a mask ordinance that requires people to wear them in public settings until November 30.

Tulsa: Tulsa passed a mask mandate Wednesday night in a 7-2 vote. The mandate is set to expire November 30.

Warr Acres: Warr Acres Mayor Jim Mickley said the city passed a mask ordinance similar to Oklahoma City on Tuesday. Mickley also said the wearing of masks are required in churches.
