Throughout the pandemic, we've seen how musicians are getting creative to continue making music.

Tulsa composer Noam Faingold has created an orchestral piece for a virtual performance here's a clip of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra playing "We Persist".

Faingold said it took him a week to write and 300-400 hours to edit. Each of the 47 musicians recorded their part on a cell phone, using a click track to keep the beat. He wanted something they could learn and record in a short time. He believes this is one of the first pieces ever written for a virtual orchestra, allowing music to be made while social distancing.

He wants to remind folks our local arts organizations need continued support during the pandemic. Click HERE for more details.
