A top football prospect in the Class of 2021 has finally made his commitment public. Caleb Williams will be an Oklahoma Sooner in 2021.
Williams made the announcement live Saturday night on the CBS Sports HQ streaming service.
Williams hails from Gonzaga College High School in Washington D.C. Recruiting services like ESPN and 247Sports have rated Williams as the top dual-threat quarterback in the 2021 class. 247Sports evaluated the 6-foot-1, 210-pound Williams as the fourth-best player in the entire 2021 class.
The D.C.-native chose the Sooners over 2019 national champion LSU and nearby Maryland.
Williams is the latest in a growing line of elite prep and collegiate quarterbacks recruited to Norman by head coach Lincoln Riley.
