There are a few Fourth of July celebrations taking place across the metro this weekend.
The city of Moore is holding "A Celebration in the Heartland" at Buck Thomas Park on Saturday. The festivities begin with a car show at 8 a.m. and will wrap up with fireworks at approximately 9:45 p.m.
The city's website warns that the event is subject to change. Any updates will be posted to the city of Moore's Twitter account.
Yukon's annual "Freedom Fest" begins its two-day celebration at Chisholm Trail Park on Friday night.
Friday's events include a tribute to veterans at 8:15 p.m. and a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Registration for the "Freedom Fest Car Show" begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at Yukon City Park. The car show itself will start at 10 a.m., also at Yukon City Park.
Saturday night's festivities will switch back to Chisholm Trail Park beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Oklahoma Community Orchestra is expected to perform at 8:30 p.m. before the city's second helping of fireworks at 10 p.m.
