The United Soccer League announced the first weekend of season reopening matches Thursday including an intrastate battle between Oklahoma's two USL franchises.
Oklahoma City Energy FC-Tulsa FC will serve as a cap on the league's weekend slate when the Energy hosts Tulsa July 13 at Taft Stadium. The match will start at 6 p.m. and be nationally televised on ESPN2.
The league plans to restart its season over the three-day stretch between July 11 and July 13. The other USL match that will air on ESPN2 will be July 12's Louisville City FC-Pittsburgh Riverhounds FC meeting.
According to USL's special regular season structure announced last week, the match will be the resumption of what will be a 16-match regular season for all USL teams.
USL said it will release the full remaining regular season schedule for all teams in the coming days.
