Man's Body Found Inside Burning Home In NW OKC

Firefighters are investigating after finding a man's body inside a burning home, Sunday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to investigators, the fire happened around 9 p.m. near Northwest 36th Street and North Portland Avenue.

Neighbors heard glass breaking and called 911, fire officials said.

Arriving firefighters were told the male lived in the home alone and may have had mobility issues.

Crews put out the fire and rescued two pets from the home.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
