Be prepared for another sunny and hot day on Thursday.
Highs will again be above normal as temperatures climb into the mid 90s. We will likely see upper 90s in the northwest.
South winds will be the strongest through midday and then relax some in the afternoon.
As a cold front approaches, storms chances will go up. Isolated thunderstorms are expected to develop after 5 p.m. in the northwest. Eventually a line of storms will try to form. This could bring widespread rain to western and southwestern Oklahoma.
The storm chances in OKC are slight and should be the highest around midnight. Severe storms will be possible into the evening.
The main threat will be winds to 65 mph and up to quarter size hail.
Our trackers will be out, and we will bring you updates as the day rolls along.
