US Air Force Pilot Killed In North Sea Plane Crash Was Student At Vance AFB

The pilot killed in the North Sea plane crash trained at Vance Air Force Base, the base said on its Facebook page.

1st Lt. Kenneth "Kage" Allen died during a training mission Monday over the North Sea near the United Kingdom.

Vance Air Force Base wrote the following message on Facebook:

"1st Lt. Kenneth “Kage” Allen, a Vance Air Force Base graduate class 19-01, tragically lost his life yesterday during a training mission over the North Sea. To Kage’s family and Wingmen, we grieve with you during these troubling times. Kage, we will always remember you. #VanceProud"

Allen was flying a U.S. Air Force F-15C Eagle when it crashed. The aircraft was from the 48th Fighter Wing, RAF Lakenheath, United Kingdom.
