1 Dead After Apparent Drunken-Driving Crash In Grady County

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper said one person died after an apparent drunk-driving crash Monday night in Grady County.

Troopers said 25-year-old Aaron Boltshauser was driving eastbound on County Road 1160 near Minco around 11:30 p.m. when he started to swerve.

Bolthauser over corrected, sending his vehicle into an electrical utility box.

Bolthauser survived the crash and is in critical condition. 36-year-old Rickey Thierry, a passenger in the vehicle during the crash was pronounced dead at the scene.

The OHP reports said Bolthauser smelled like alcohol.
