Okla. To See Hot, Muggy Day With Chance Of Isolated Thunderstorms

Tuesday will be another hot day and a bit more muggy by the afternoon.

Isolated thunderstorm chances will go up in the afternoon.

As the state starts to heat up through midday, isolated showers will try to develop. These could become more widespread east of Interstate 35 through the evening. Once we lose the heating, showers will fizzle out.

Humidity will be higher in western Oklahoma, but the fire threat will still be high.

Winds will gust 20 to 25 mph out of the southeast.

Highs will climb into the upper 80s and low 90s. Heat index will be a factor in eastern Oklahoma.

The state is moving into a more unsettled pattern, so off and on rain chances will be creeping back in.
