A grey whale sighting in the bay of Naples on Sunday (April 18) was described by local media as an "exceptional event", as the north-eastern Pacific species rarely visits the Mediterranean waters. The last sighting of the whale in the Mediterranean sea before was in 2010 between Israel and Spain. Regional Marine authorities' goal is to accompany the animal to the open sea to keep it from beaching.

According to police, a man walked inside the store, located near East 11th Street and Highway 169, and had a gun in his waistband Police said the suspect demanded money and cigarettes from the a clerk who had just made a deposit. The Tulsa Authority for Economic Opportunity will be holding its first meeting on Thursday. The authority is the result of an 18-month partnership between the Mayor's Office of Economic Development and a consulting firm.
