Adult 'Indironi' Mac and Cheese

Adult “Indironi” Mac and Cheese

  1. 1 pound chicken tenders, cut into bite size pieces
  2. 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
  3. 1 red onion, sliced thin
  4. 1 pound rotini pasta, cooked al dente
  5. Olive oil
  6. 1 pound Velveeta, cubed
  7. 1 1/2 cups water 
  8. 1-3 Tablespoons Sriracha sauce 
  9. Fried Garlic Flakes

  1. In a large dutch oven, saute the chicken with garlic and red onion slices in olive oil.
  2. Cook till chicken is browned.
  3. Add water and continue cooking for 10 minutes over medium heat.
  4. Stir in the Velveeta cheese and Sriracha sauce.
  5. Add more Sriracha sauce according to your preferred heat.
  6. Continue to cook till cheese is melted and then stir in the pasta.
  7. Allow the pasta to warm and then serve with fried garlic flakes on top.
