OCPD Investigating Fatal Accident In NW OKC

Oklahoma City police were on the scene of a fatal accident in northwest Oklahoma City.

The accident happened Sunday evening near the intersection of North Rockwell Avenue and Melrose Lane.

Authorities said the accident was a head-on collision. Two people in one vehicle died while the driver of the second vehicle was injured.

Police are investigating if speed was a factor in the head-on collision.
