OKCFD Reporting To A Second-Floor Fire In SW OKC

The Oklahoma City Fire Department is responding to a reported second-floor fire late Saturday afternoon in southwest Oklahoma City.

The reported fire is located at an apartment complex near the intersection of Southwest 36th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Fire officials said a large amount of smoke and flames are on the second floor of the complex.

OKCFD sounded a second-alarm for additional help on the fire just after 5 p.m. Firefighters on the scene said that the fire has spread through the attic and made it to the roof of the structure.

Authorities also said occupants are out of the apartment.
