Rain and thunderstorms will wind down through the mid-morning. Some areas have picked up close to an inch of rain in the northwest.
Look for partly cloudy skies today with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s. Winds will be out of the south today at 10 to 20 miles per hour.
Areas that haven’t seen rain today will continue with a high fire threat.
Partly cloudy skies with lows in the mid-60s and low 70s are slated for Friday night.
Isolated thunderstorms will be possible overnight into Saturday morning. The chances for rain are at 20 percent or less. The weekend looks mostly hot and dry with 90s and near 100-degree temperatures.
