The ripping Oklahoma wind will back off Wednesday.
The powerful storm is moving away from the state and we are in for a beautiful afternoon.
Winds will stay up until early Wednesday afternoon. By the evening, winds will be light.
The cold front on the backside of this storm caused the humidity to drop like a rock.
There is no heat index to worry about. Highs will be well below normal in the mid 80s.
Overnight look for light winds with lows in the 50s and 60s.
Thursday there will be sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s and low 90s.
Friday will be hotter and into the weekend upper 90s and low 100s return. The humidity will be very low so there will be no heat index to worry about.
Rain chances look slim to none through the next nine days.
