First Coronavirus Patient Reported At The Oklahoma Co. Jail

The first coronavirus case has been reported at the Oklahoma County jail, the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office reported.

The inmate tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, June 1.

The 22-year-old was booked Wednesday, May 27, and tested during the booking process.

New intake inmates are quarantined for at least 10 days before being placed in general population.

The inmate is asymptomatic and is in isolation at the jail infirmary.
