A Black Lives Matter protest in response to the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis took place in northeast Oklahoma City Sunday.
Demonstrators made their way from Northeast 36th Street to the state Capitol building. As graffiti was sprayed on the doors of the building a group of protesters rushed to clean it off, some even taking the shirts off their backs.
The protesters said they wanted this to be a peaceful protest.
News 9's Aaron Brilbeck was live from the Capitol.
