The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double homicide Thursday morning in Spencer.
Deputies were called to the area near Northeast 23rd Street and North Douglas Boulevard after a neighbor found two men dead.
When police responded to the scene shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday.
One victim was found dead inside a car. The second victim was found dead a few feet away from the car. Deputies said both died from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as 30-year-old Madison Carter and 27-year-old Dominique Knight.
Investigators think both were shot while in the car, and Knight was able to get out of the vehicle and walk a few steps away before collapsing onto a front yard.
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots about 2 a.m. Thursday but no one called law officers until before 7 a.m. when a neighbor went outside and saw the victims.
There is currently no suspect information.
