Construction Worker Killed In SE OKC Auto-Pedestrian Crash

At least one person is dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in southeast Oklahoma City.

At least one person is dead after an auto-pedestrian crash in southeast Oklahoma City.

The crash happened Wednesday evening near SE 149th Street and Peebly Road.

Police said the crash involved a construction worker, identified as 31-year-old Zachary Bailey. According to authorities, Bailey wasn't wearing reflective attire when he was struck by the vehicle.

Bailey was taken to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Police said the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
