Oklahoma City police are investigating a homicide after a man was found shot to death Friday night.
Police said they received reports of shots being fired around 10:30 p.m. in the 300 block of NW 80th St., west of the Broadway Extension.
When officers arrived they found a deceased male victim on the porch of the home with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Cici Joslin lives in the home across the street from where the shooting happened.
“We just heard about 5 or 6 gunshots,” said Joslin. “I came out once it stopped and a car was speeding off and turned back to the corner.”
The victim has not been identified at this time.
“I’ve been here 7 years, I’ve never seen or heard of no shootings down in this area, so it's really surprising,” said a local neighbor who did not want to be identified.
“It scared me, it really did,” said another neighbor. “It frightened me because it sounded so close and then I got up and saw all of the police cars.”
Police are still searching for the shooter and have no description at this time.
