Medical Examiner's Office Rules Death In Ski Island Home As Accidental

A woman found dead in Ski Island died by accidental drowning, the state medical examiner's office determined.

Candace Muzny, 43, was found dead on Feb. 17 in a Ski Island home in northwest Oklahoma City.

Muzny was a former race car driver and was arrested within the last six months. She was accused of assaulting a nail salon employee and an Oklahoma City police officer.

The medical examiner's office said Muzny's cause of death was drowning and the manner of death was an accident.
