Northern Okla. Under Severe Storm Watch Tuesday Morning

Storms are expected overnight, particularly in northern Oklahoma. A few of these will be severe and develop after midnight in NW Okla. These storms will shift east and SE across the state and could approach Oklahoma City around 5 or 6 a.m. Northern Okla.

Storms are expected overnight, particularly in northern Oklahoma. 

A few of these will be severe and develop after midnight in NW Okla. These storms will shift east and SE across the state and could approach Oklahoma City  around 5 or 6 a.m.

Northern Okla. is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 a.m. 

Storms will exit the state after sunrise. Temps on Tuesday will warm up as the sunshine returns.

Warmer air will build in over the state Wednesday through Friday. Highs will reach into the 80s. Even some temperatures in the 90s look possible on Thursday for some, as highs approach record levels.
 
There may be another chance for storms Thursday night in the north. 
 
Another cool front arrives Friday. A storm chance looks possible but not likely.
 
Cooler air will settle in and stick around into early next week. A slight chance of rain early next week.
