More than 3,000 people have died from coronavirus in the U.S. and more than 163,800 confirmed cases have been reported across the country, according to Johns Hopkins University.

With intensive care units in New York City overwhelmed, the U.S. Navy on Monday sailed the hospital ship Comfort into New York Harbor. Governor Andrew Cuomo also issued a nationwide call to doctors and nurses to join what he called the "front lines" of the war on the virus.

Virginia, Maryland, Arizona and Tennessee issued stay-at-home orders on Monday, joining 28 other states. Three out of every four Americans have now been told to stay home as much as possible.

Detailed information from the CDC on coronavirus treatment and prevention.
