A man who died while trying to run away from police has been identified by Oklahoma City police.
Zachary Lambert, 30, died after he jumped from a highway bridge, police said.
Officers were called shortly after 1:30 a.m. Monday in reference to a crash on Interstate 40 near Meridian Avenue.
When police arrived, they found two people thought to be intoxicated.
The woman was detained and placed into a police car.
Sgt. Jeffrey Davis placed handcuffs on one of the man's wrists when the man began resisting, police said.
During the scuffle, the man jumped over the side of the bridge and onto Meridian Avenue.
Lambert was taken to a local hospital where he died.
