Woman Arrested After Allegedly Driving Drunk, Crashing Car Into Pond At Moore Park

A 47-year-old has been arrested by police after allegedly crashing her car into a culvert at Veterans Memorial Park in Moore Monday afternoon.

An officer reported finding Vicky Bowron’s Subaru parked in the road on 4th Street.

When he tried to get out of his vehicle and help, he said she took off.

Dash camera footage shows the moment a vehicle jumped a curb and continued onto the sidewalk.

At that point a witness had to jump out of the way of her vehicle.

Investigators said Bowron admitted to drinking hours before the wreck.

She was taken to the hospital to have her blood drawn and to be checked out for any injuries.

Bowron was booked on a complaint of driving under the influence.

Police said this could have turned out much worse, but thankfully no one at the scene was hurt.
