Woman Arrested After MWC Police Find Woman Killed With Machete

A woman was arrested Friday after another woman was killed with a machete.

Anisha Mackey, 29, was arrested on a murder complaint.

Police were called about 10 p.m. Friday to the 700 block of N Midwest Boulevard near NE 10th Street.

When officers arrived, they found Patty Perdue, 45, dead inside a small camper in the backyard of a home.

She suffered several sharp instrument wounds.

Witnesses told police Mackey and two other people were inside the camper when Mackey started acting strangely and began swinging a large machete.

Two people ran away from the camper and heard Perdue yell for help.

Mackey's infant, who was at the scene, is with a relative.

Mackey has been booked into the Oklahoma County jail.
