Norman Restaurant Continues Free Meal Mondays

A restaurant in Norman is going through some tough times now, but that hasn’t stopped their generosity.

Scratch Kitchen and Cocktails has been serving free meals every Monday for the past month to anyone who shows up.

Owner Brady Sexton said they've served about 800 meals to anyone that has stopped by.

Times have been tough for his restaurant, just like most others, but Sexton said helping out felt like the right thing to do.

“We’re bleeding money, but we have a staff here to do the little bit of curbside service that we can," Sexton said. "We have access to food…it’s worth it to give something.”

He said the free meals will continue next Monday, and after that, they hope to have their dining room open again. The restaurant is still open for curbside service.
