Downtown Edmond Arts Festival Canceled While Farmer's Market Opens With Restrictions

The Downtown Edmond Business Association has canceled this year's Downtown Edmond Arts Festival.

The event was supposed to be held Saturday, May 2 through Sunday. The Association says they're looking into planning a smaller event this Fall.

There is some good news for Edmond residents as the farmers market will reopen Saturday morning. Organizers will require customers and vendors to wear masks and will direct the flow of foot traffic. They're also asking shoppers to leave reusable bags at home and not stay at one booth for too long.

The market will be open from 9 to 1 through the end of the month.
