Firefighters Respond To NW OKC House Fire

Oklahoma City -

Firefighters responded to a house fire, Thursday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, firefighters responded to a call around 5:30 a.m. near Northwest 16th Street and North Pennsylvania Avenue.

When crews arrived, they saw smoke coming out of the door. Firefighters quickly discovered the fire was in the basement.

The fire was contained to the corner of the basement. Fire officials said the home saw very light damage.

During the first search through the home, firefighters found two dog and relocated them to the garage.

No injuries have been reported.
