More than 85% of Oklahomans are concerned about the spread of coronavirus in the community, according to an exclusive News 9 poll.
The poll was conducted by SoonerPoll for News 9 from April 22 to 27 and the sampled 600 residents in the News 9 viewing area.
According to the poll, 43.2% of Oklahomans are very concerned about the spread of coronavirus in your community and 42.6% were concerned. About 10.8% were not concerned at all and 3.4% were unsure.
While more than 85% of the respondents were concerned about the possible spread of the virus, 70% of Oklahomans said it was a real threat compared to the 20.2% who say the coronavirus is blown out of proportion. Less than 10% of Oklahomans said they are unsure.
While many businesses in the state are planning their reopening strategies, almost half of Oklahomans said they plan to get out less than before the pandemic.
The margin of error for News 9’s exclusive poll is +/- 4%.
