1 Arrested In Connection With Del City Stabbing Death

One person was arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing in Del City, police said.

Police were called Tuesday to a home in the 3600 block of SE 15th Street near Sunnylane Road.

A man was found with multiple stab wounds to his head, neck and back. He was taken to OU Medical Center where he died, police said.

The victim was identified as 33-year-old Kevin Pickett.

Police said the victim was a resident at the home with a female. The female and a man were in the home when the victim went to the home to retrieve some of his belongings.

The two men got into an argument that led to the assault, police said.

Jacques Bellazar, 38, was arrested without incident at the home. He was arrested on a second-degree murder complaint.
